He moved to Pensacola, FL with his first wife Gayle Earnest and later moved to Milton, FL. After the divorce of his first wife, Keith remained in Milton where he resided with his second wife of 12 years, Sandra Sorrell, until the time of death.
Keith worked at various jobs including car and insurance sales, airplane maintenance, and construction and made many lasting friendships along the way. He and wife Sandra were quick to lend their support to those in need, often bringing a friend or family member into their home, and their kindness was returned in the Sorrell’s time of need. The support of the many friends of the family was strongly felt with each visit or phone call or act of kindness while Keith battled briefly with a fast-spreading cancer. The family would also like to thank the staff of Sacred Heart Hospital as well as the Covenant Hospice network for their concern and care for Keith and our family during this difficult time.
Visitation for Keith will be at Oak Lawn Funeral Home at 619 New Warrington Rd in Pensacola, FL on Thursday April 1, 2010 at 12:00 PM until the service begins at 1:00 PM at Oak Lawn to be followed by burial at Barrancas National Cemetery at 2:00 PM.
