Katie Davis Gresham, 73, of Pensacola, FL passed away on Friday, June 26, 2015. She was born January 1, 1942 in Laurel MS to the late Henry Samuel and Susie Davis, Sr. Katie finished High School at Sandersville in 1960 and went to Belhaven College in Jackson, MS for one year, then transferred to Ole Miss and Graduated in 1964 with a degree in education. She then taught Honor A.P. American History at Pensacola High School for 10 years, and then transferred to Pine Forest High School where she taught for 20 years before her retirement. Katie and her husband Glen were faithful Florida State Fans, well-traveled around the world. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Doyle Glen Gresham, Sr. who she married on February 18, 1967. She is survived by her son, Doyle Glen Gresham, Jr. and his wife, Samantha; brother, Henry Samuel Davis, Jr. and his wife Carol.
