June Thomas

June McClellan Thomas, 88, of Pensacola, died Saturday, February 23, 2013. She was born on July 8, 1924 in West Palm Beach, FL, to Robert Harry McClellan and Amy Elizabeth Raley. She moved to Pensacola at a very early age and attended local schools. She was a devoted homemaker, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and dear friend. She was married to the late Joe V. Thomas for 70 years, and is survived by sons Joe V. (Jane) Thomas, Jr. of Atlanta, GA; and Ottis (Christina) Thomas, of Pensacola, FL; daughter Nancy T. (Ron) Parker, of Pensacola, FL; brother, Bill McClellan of Atlanta, GA; six grandchildren, Sonja Crawford, Ryan Thomas, Zachary Thomas, Marian Parker, Mailande Parker and Ann Parker; and one great grandchild, Victor Gaige Thomas. The funeral service will be held at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel on Friday, March 1, 2013 at 11am, with visitation one hour prior. Entombment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park. Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
