June Johnson, 91, of Pensacola, FL died Sunday, January 22, 2012.
She was born June 4, 1920, in Atlanta, GA and had been a resident of Pensacola for over 55 years. Although earlier in life she worked as a medical assistant, she spent most of her life lovingly caring for her family. She also dedicated many hours of service to her church—Warrington Presbyterian.
She is survived by her husband, John; son, Robert Stephens (Diane Medeiros); and daughter, Joan White (Paul).
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home. Private burial services will be at Barrancas National Cemetery. A memorial service to honor her life will be held at Warrington Presbyterian Church at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 26, 2012 with the Rev. Robert S. Hornick officiating. A reception will follow at the church.
