Joyce Monza Vaughn King , aka “Nana” to her grandchildren, a resident of Pensacola, Florida , born September 26, 1934 in Gadsden, Alabama to Algie and Georgia Vaughn. On February 16, 2024, she departed this world to join other loved ones that have gone before her. Joyce was a longtime member of East Brent Baptist Church.
She was welcomed by her beloved parents; sister, Frances Myers; brother, Donald Vaughn; and baby daughter, Kelly Lynn King.
Joyce was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
She was always smiling and so fun and happy to be around and loved her family with her whole heart.
She is survived by her loving husband of almost 62 years, Glen Roger King; 3 children, Teri King Miller (Ken), Gary Glen King (Leah), Shane Roger King (Jackie); 7 grandchildren, Justin Tyler Miller, Tucker Jordan Miller, Kendall Brooke Miller, Madalyn Paige King, Conner Vaughn King, Griffin Parker King, Mallory Brigid King; sister and best friend, Barbara Vaughn Toro; sister-in-law, Hilda King Fair (Cleve); sister-in-law, Dorothy Vaughn and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday , March 2, 2024 at 11:00 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel with Brother Dale Patterson officiating.
