Joseph Anthony Franzone, 83, passed away on August 4, 2016 in Pensacola. He was born on April 27, 1933 in Long Island, New York. Joseph came to Pensacola with the U.S. Navy in 1953 and met the love of his life, Alice Nall, who preceded him in death after 61 years of marriage. After serving in the Navy, Joseph retired from Monsanto.
He is survived by two sons: Joseph Edward(Maryann) Franzone, Terry Anthony (Betty) Franzone; two daughters: Cecilia Cleckler and Laura Simoneaux; 12 grandchildren: Jonathan, Angel, Carassa, Lee Ann, Dallas, Dillon, Dustin, Tony, Maresha, Tarah, Joseph II and Angelia; a sister Jay Rowsalski and many great grandchildren.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Bayside Manor for going above and beyond in caring for our father.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home, immediately followed by a service.
