Joseph Allen Cook, age 86, returned to his heavenly home on July 19, 2020. He was born in Tuscaloosa, AL on February 20, 1934 to Jerman and Ida Cook. He later relocated to Pensacola, FL in 1984. Joseph was an Aircraft Mechanic for the United States Air Force and retired after serving 20 years.
Joseph is preceded in death by his loving wife, Loretta; his parents; brothers, Earl Cook, J.T. Cook Jr., and Robert Cook; and sister, Edith Lord. He is survived by his children; David Cook, Cynthia Duhon, and Sandra Curts; sisters, Quida Deerman and Mavis Russell, 7 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be held at Eastern Gate Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home.
