Joseph Daniel Brookins, 86, passed away at home surrounded by his family June 25, 2013.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Margaret, his 3 children, Carol (Frank), June and Don (Kim), 4 grandchildren, Jodi(Chad), Donald (Jacquelyn), Nicky and Megan, and 4 great grandchildren, Jaeden, Jaxon, Ryleigh and Brady.
The funeral service, officiated by Chaplain Ken Griffin, will be held at 12:30pm on Friday, June 28, 2013 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home 619 New Warrington Road, Pensacola, FL 32506, with viewing and visitation one hour prior, followed by full military honors and burial at 1:15pm at Barrancas National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers please make memorials to Covenent Hospice, 5041 North 12th ave., Pensacola, FL 32504. Oak Lawn Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
