Pensacola- John Wesley Smith age 57 of Pensacola was born August 9, 1964, in Mobile, AL. He worked in the hospitality service doing what he loved: cooking. He loved to teach people all about cooking too. He passed away on November 18, 2021.
In his spare time, John was an avid beach-goer. He loved to play in his Koi Pond. He was so proud of his Koi Pond. He also loved to hang out with his friends. John was preceded in death by his husband: James William "Jim" Sowell. Also his mother Norma Faye (Hardee) Smith and his father Stephen Smith.
John is survived by his brother Stephen "Chip" Smith and a niece. He also had many cousins as well as many friends.
Visitation will be held at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel Tuesday, November 30, 2021, from 11am to 1pm. Funeral Services will be held at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at 1pm.
