Jesse Archie Nicholson Jr.

1932-2012

Jesse Nicholson Jr., age 79, of Pace, FL. went to be with his Lord on May 11, 2012 at his home, surrounded by family and friends, after a lengthy illness.

Jesse was born on June 18, 1932 in Pensacola FL. to Ola Eugene (Linton) and Jesse Archie Nicholson, Sr. He married his lifelong sweetheart of 55 years, Virginia (Grant) Nicholson, they lived in Pensacola and Pace FL. until his death.

Jesse served 4 years in the United States Air Force before a 35 year career as a Maintenance Mechanic with Chemstrand, Monsanto and Solutia Chemical Companies in Cantonment FL.

Jesse was preceded in death by his parents; brother Clyde; sisters Margraret, Clara, Ola Mae Cherry, Dorothy Rudd, Judy Manor, Carrie Foppiano and Shirley Nicholson.

Survivors include his wife; son, Richard Lee Nicholson of Pensacola Fl.; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Winn Sellers of Jay FL.; brother, Eugene Nicholson of Pace, FL. and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Hillcrest Baptist Church, 800 East 9 Mile Road, Pensacola FL. on Monday May 14, 2012 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. A memorial service will be held at Hillcrest Baptist Church on Tuesday May 15, 2012 at 11:00 am, followed by interment at Bayview Memorial Park, 3351 Scenic Hwy.

A reception will be held at Hillcrest Baptist Church following all services.

Honorary pallbearers will be Solutia intermediates maintenance, Powerhouse group, Hillcrest greeters, Parking patrol and Life group.

BAYVIEW FISHER-POU CHAPEL, 3351 Scenic Hwy., is entrusted with arrangements.
