I had been in touch with Jerry for about a year now.I had not seen him since he was a little boy when they use to come and visit us in LaGrange.His daddy was my grandaddy Pike Milam's brother.I remember when he was about to get married to June.He was so happy.I really enjoyed all of our talks on facebook.We talked about a lot of the good ole days.I am so saddened about his passing.The bible says to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.I thank God for letting me get in touch with Jerry and sharing some old memories.Rest in Peace.We will meet again some day.Love you.

I just found out today that you had passed from our cousin, Lynn in LaGrange.  I didn't get to know you very well, but I know you were a good man because of your parents.  Uncle Calvin was my Mother(Wilma Milam) brother.  God Bless You and Your Family!

Jerry Milam was my first cousin. I know that I met him, but I was so young.. I am a part of the legacy of Milam's that lives on today in my children. I have a son that looks so much like all the Milams. My brother was the spitting image of all of them and now my son has taken over the job. I am rich in many ways, but mostly because I was born one of them. I always knew that Jerry was around. I did not find him again until this year.. My prayers and thoughts are with you all. I just wish that I could have met him again. I think that I missed him when my Uncle Raymond died. His younger pictures are so awesome and one of them makes me cry. That is what we are suppose to do.. weep for those that are gone.. it makes us know what we have lost.My prayers and the utmost sympathy for his wife and his family.. please look me up in facebook and let me hear from you.. Jerry was a giving person. He will be missed. We haven't seen him in a long time but told us about June. We are his
ex-sister &broyher in-law. We wanted him to be happy. Our prayers are with you.
