Jeanne Howard

Mrs. Howard was born on Feb 21, 1928 in Palestine, TX where she met and married her previous husband and traveled with him as a Navy wife of over 20 years. Mrs. Howard lived in such places as Washington, California, Hawaii, Conn., Florida and South Carolina. In 1972 she returned to Pensacola, met and married her 2nd husband, Morris Howard, who preceded her in death, and she worked until retirement for Lewis Bear Co. She attended 1st United Methodist Church in Milton, FL until she moved to Jacksonville to live with her youngest son William.

Mrs Howard is survived by 3 sons, John (Gayle) Everitt of Milton, FL, Michael (Penny) Everitt of Kilgore, TX, and William (Meloda) Everitt of Jacksonville, FL and 1 daughter, Marla (Donnie) Rushing of Humble, TX, 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Kathy Knight, will be held at Oak Lawn Funeral Home in Pensacola, on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at 1pm, with visitation one hour prior. Interment will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery at 2pm. Oak Lawn Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
