Janet Maxine Goodwin

Janet Phelps Goodwin was born September 16, 1936 in St Croix Falls, Wisconsin. She passed away peacefully Monday, February 12, 2018 after fighting a lengthy illness with Parkinson’s disease. Jan resided in Pensacola for most of her life. She was a very loving mother and wife. Jan enjoyed life including bowling, gardening, nature and traveling. She will be deeply missed by all. She was preceded in death by her father John Phelps and her mother Laura Phelps, and by two sisters and one brother.

Jan is survived by her husband of 64 years, John Goodwin, daugthers Suzanne and husband Ray Tuzzeo, Terri Williams, Marsha Goodwin and Patricia and husband Richard Hall, five grandsons, Danny Tuzzeo, Kevin Williams and wife Abigail, Bryan Williams and wife Emily, Matthew Hall and Stephen Hall, great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jan’s memory to Emerald Coast Hospice, which her family would like to extend their special thanks for their wonderful help and support.

Visitation will be held Friday, February 16, 2018 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel in Pensacola beginning at 10:00 AM. Funeral services will follow visitation Friday at 11:00 AM and burial will be in Bayview Memorial Park in Pensacola.
