Age 68 of Pensacola, passed away on Jan. 31, 2012. Mr. Schmidt was a retired US Army veteran. James is survived by his dear beloved wife, Diane Schmidt; three children, Kevin, Katrina, Kelly; two step children, Mickey Bowman, Herman Turner; five grandchildren; three best friends, Kenny Wallace, Raymond Kessinger and Donna Jacob. James was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by all. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm till 8:00 pm on Feb. 3, 2012 at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Sat., Feb. 4, 2012 at 2:00 at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow at Eastern Gate Memorial Gardens.
