James Noel Hale Jr., age 77, passed away on May 23rd at his home in Pensacola, Florida. He was the husband of Jo Anna Jessee Hale. He was born in Lebanon, VA to James Noel Hale Sr. and Agnes Stoots Hale. He attended and graduated from Lebanon High School where he was a talented and active member of the band.
He worked with his father in construction until 1980 when his family moved to Pensacola where he was the Master Electrician and Electrical Foreman at Pensacola Christian College, with multiple certifications and credentials. He retired in 2010 and pursued his love of woodworking.
He is survived by his wife; Jo Anna, daughters Kim Evans and Beth Stead, son James Hale III, 8 grandchildren and step-sister Berniece Bowling Wolfe. He was preceded in death by father James Noel Hale Sr., mother Agnes Stoots Hale, step-mother Ethel Bowling Hale, twin sister at birth, and brother Kelly Hale.
The memorial service and graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 28th at 1:00 p.m. at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home, 1985 West Nine Mile Road, Pensacola, FL with the internment at Eastern Gate Cemetery immediately following. The visitation will be held at 12:00 p.m. until 1:00p.m. service starts.
