James is survived by his children, Bridgett Ford (Bob), James Brown Jr. (Kristi), Benji Brown (Jennifer), Staci Collins (Ed), his 15 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great Great Grandchildren, his nephews, Terry Brown, Timmy Brown, Troy Brown, his niece, Tonya Brown.
His is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Easter Belle Brown, his brother, David Brown, his sister-in-law, Marie Brown, his grandson, Hayden Brown, and his great nephew, Zack Price.
James was born on October 3, 1943, in Pensacola, FL. He worked for many years in the family business, Brown Painting, he also worked as an electrician. He loved antique cars, fishing, hunting, riding his motorcycle, playing his guitar and singing, he also sang in a Gospel Quartet for many years. But his greatest love was for his family and friends. He loved to gather with loved ones and spend quality time together. His warm hugs, loving heart, contagious smile and sense of humor, will be greatly missed, by all that knew him.
Visitation will be held Saturday, December 14, 2024 from 11:00AM to 11:30AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:30AM at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home, 1985 West Nine Mile Road, Pensacola, FL 32534.
Pallbearers will be Taylor Brown, Hunter Brown, Matthew Brown, Layne Allen, Jaylen Brown, Jory Whitehead.
