Jack Howard Harper, 86, passed away June 10, 2021, in Pensacola, Florida. He was born February 21, 1935, to Ray and Bertha Harper, in Yuba City, California. He was very proud to have served his country for 20 years in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict and Vietnam.
He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Tammy Harper. Jack is survived by his wife of 56 years, Cynthia; two daughters, Sheryl Amoni of Pensacola and Rae Anne (Ricky) Randolph of Brandon, MS; son Vincent (Barbara) of Hanford, CA; two brothers, Harvey of Yuba City, CA, and Bill (Carol) of Sheridan, OR; grandchildren, Jennifer (Robert) Taylor, Pensacola; Ryan (Jodi) Harrison of Bloomington, IN; Megan (Dustin) Cook of Madison, MS; Jonathan (Lacy) Randolph of Oxford, MS; Miriam (Josh) Shufelt of Brandon, MS; and Caroline Amoni of San Diego, CA; thirteen great-grandchildren and two great- great- grandchildren.
Jack was a member of Liberty Church since 1973. He prayed with Bro. Ken Sumrall, and he had no doubt of his salvation and where he would spend eternity. He and Cindy were baptized together by Bro. Sumrall in 1973 at the 57th Street location. He loved to go to the gospel singings the past several years where he made many special friends.
Visitation will be held Monday, June 21, 2021 at 10:30am at Liberty Church 2221 S. Blue Angel Pkwy. Pensacola, FL 32506. Funeral Service will follow at 11:30am.
Graveside Service will be at Barrancas National Cemetery at 1:00pm.
