Henry “Pete” Turner Sr. 90, passed away on August 29, 2015. He served as a gunner on a TBM Avenger in the Navy during WWII, as a platoon leader in the Army Infantry during the Korean War, and a Captain in the Army National Guard.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years; Ramona Turner, daughters; Vera Dale (Frank), Jackie (Bart), Ruth (Jim), Lisa (Wade), son; Henry (Rosemary), Kevin (Michele), 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and numerous family members and friends.
Visitation to be held Thursday, September 3, 2015 with Funeral Services at 10:30 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home. Burial to follow services at Barrancas National Cemetery.
