Helen Louise Spencer, 84 of Pensacola, died peacefully in her home on Thursday,
September 23, 2010.
She was born in Newton Falls, Ohio on November 22, 1925 to Father and Mother-George and
Mary Dobransky
She has been a resident of Pensacola since 1957. Helen was retired from the State Attorney
Office in April 1985. She was Secretary to State Attorney, Curtis A Golden.
Helen was a member of St Thomas Moore Parish since 1957 where she was a counsel member
and actively served on several different committees.
She was a member of the Elkettes Lodge # 2108 and served as President of the Elkettes from
1991-1992.
Helen is survived by her husband of 54 years Billie Spencer. One Son; Bill Spencer.
Two daughters; Debbie Hammond and Susan Kinney
One Granddaughter, Jessica Simmons and one brother George Dobransky.
Visitation will be Monday, September 27, 2010 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Oak Lawn Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at 10:15 a.m. at Oak Lawn Funeral Home
wih interment to follow at Barrancas National Cemetery.
In her spare time she was involved in fund raising activities for St. Thomas Moore Parish and
Creating a successful choir at the Elkettes Lodge. She had the biggest heart always giving to others.
She always had something good to say about everyone. We will always remember her infectious
Laugh.
