Helen Pauline Russell

Helen Pauline Russell, 90, passed peacefully away Thursday, March 7, 2024, in Huntsville, Alabama, surrounded by her devoted family. Helen was a longtime resident of Milton, Florida as well as Athens, Alabama and Huntsville, Alabama.

Helen enjoyed spending time with her family, puttering in her flower garden and yard, and creating colorful art. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward Russell, a proud retired Naval officer. She was also preceded by her mother and father, Hazel and Austin Morrow of Dean, Iowa and her four sisters, Geraldine Daniels, Dixie Morrow, Marjorie Woods, and Sharon Thomas. She is survived by her former husband, Maurice E. Singley, and their daughters Constance (Butch) Turner, Candace (John) Frazier, Cynthia (Mike) Ferguson, Susan (Dan) Parlamento, and Kedra (Michael) Reczek and sons Austin (Wanda) Singley, Greg (Debbie) Singley, Perry Singley, Charles (Donna) Singley, and Thaddius Singley, as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and members of extended family.

Internment will be held in Pensacola, Florida.
