1926-2017
Graham S. Smith, 90, born in Tampa, Florida, passed away at his home on April 18, 2017 in Kissimmee, Florida. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy E. Smith, and survived by his current wife, Naomi L. Smith, whom he married in 2011. He is also survived by a daughter Sharon (Ben) Reep, two sons: Robert (Jeanne) Smith and Richard (Lynn) Smith, nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Smith had an extensive, 22-year career in the US Navy and retired as a Senior Chief Cryptologic Technician (CTCS). His military career included service during World War II and at NAS, Pensacola. After retiring from the US Navy, he received his Associates Degree from Pensacola Junior College.
Mr. Smith was a member of First United Methodist Church in Kissimmee and the U.S. Naval Cryptologic Veterans Association. He enjoyed making stained glass, travelling, volunteering and singing in the choir.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 2:00-3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, Pensacola, immediately followed by a service. Interment will be held on Monday, April 24, 2017 at Barrancas National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m., with the procession departing Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m.
