Gloria "Jean" Adams

Gloria “Jean” Adams, 88, of Pensacola, FL went home to be with the Lord on April 14, 2017. She was born to Nelson Crowell and Etta Newton on September 2, 1928 in Twist, AR. Gloria worked over 20 years at the Navy Exchange but her passion was bargain shopping . She was a devoted wife, mother, and mammaw. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Homer Virgil Adams, Jr. She is survived by her children; Michael (Wendy) Adams, Gerald (Diana) Adams, Denise Adams, and Debbie (Eric) Elowsky. She is also survived by grandchildren; Sherry Brennan, Allison (Mike) Walgren, Kristin (Hector) Adams, Sara Adams, David Adams, and Stephanie (Rory) Hermann; great grandchildren, Cheyanne Brennan, Savanna Brennan, Daisy Walgren, Jessica Walgren, Brandon (Jessica) Felker, John Bayer, Angel Galvan, Raven Galvan, Matthew Hermann, Erika Hermann, Natalie Hermann, and great great grandchildren, James Felker and Emma Felker. She is also survived by her sister Frances Spencer. A visitation will be Friday, April 21, 2017 from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm with a funeral service to follow at 12:30 pm at Oak Lawn Funeral Home Chapel. An interment will held at Barrancas National Cemetery following the funeral service at 2:00 pm. In Lieu of flowers please make donations to Covenant Hospice.
