I served with Gary on his first enlistment on USS Fremont. At that time he was a bundle of nerves and humor....had a nice Mustang and we enjoyed time ashore here in the states and in the Med....sorry he passed but, fair winds and calm seas to my former shipmate.... David

To my classmate, my bother in Boy Scouts, my  brother in DeMolay,
Rosey we have been friends for many moons, we have flirted with death on many outings, we drink from the same cup. I will will miss you my brother and the gang we  shared of all those that are left will miss you also. You have traveled the world and been absent from us who share the term friend and brother. When you were  serving your country in the Navy you were never out of our minds .  Sudie and I have always enjoyed those visits  and vacations we spent with you and Rose over the years and with the regret that we never made it to Alaska to visit you there. Sudie was always proud to call you cousin and had the highest respect for you in serving our Country's Navy.  She was always fascinated to hear your stories the ones you could share about your experience's. We will miss you my brother and our friendship was always  Special!  We will not for get you Brother, now travel to that land  on another shore. Your in God's Navy now, he has prepared a place for you on high. Your star will be bright in the heavens! God rest your sole my brother, until we meet again!

Rest in peace Uncle Gary. Gary was more than an Uncle to me, he was the big brother I never had. We created good memories and we argued like sister and brother. I will never  forget the many trips to the corner store for Bologna and cigarettes. Sunshine, rain or snow. Gary and I had similar traits in life, we did our own thing but always stayed in touch. I will miss you Uncle  Gary.   💔💔💔
