Frank was born in Pensacola, Florida on April 8, 1940, to Francis Glenn and Marjorie Sanchez Wilson. He spent most of his life in Pensacola where he enjoyed boating, fishing, crabbing, tennis, and spending time with his family. You could always find him cheering on the Florida Gators basketball and football teams. Frank was an active member of the Catholic Church and was a Fourth-Degree member of the Knights of Columbus.
Frank leaves behind his beloved wife, Norma and his three children, Glenn (Katie) Wilson, Jason Wilson, and Lucy (David) Poole. He also leaves behind 9 grandchildren, Aven Wilson, Bailey (Patrick) Wolfe, Chase (Hannah) Wilson, Griffin Wilson, Lucy Wilson, Ron Wilson, Sydney Poole, and Darby Poole, as well as 6 great-grandchildren.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents Pug and Marjorie Wilson and his sister Marjorie Glenn Wilson.
Frank will always be remembered for his big personality. He was as quick to give you a hard time as he was to put a smile on your face. He enjoyed making everyone laugh and was the biggest supporter of his children and grandchildren. We couldn’t have asked for a better husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, and will miss him every day. His memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved him.
Visitation is Wednesday, April 10th from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at St. Anne’s Catholic Church Pensacola, FL with the service to follow at 11:00 am. Burial and reception will follow at Eastern Gate Memorial Gardens in Pensacola.
