My Dearest Bethy,
It has been nearly six months since the Lord called for you to join him. I think about you every day. Sometimes I cry and laugh and sometimes I get mad because I feel guilty that you can't be here to enjoy the world with me. I'm so sorry that I could not fulfill my promise of showing you the country club life that you deserved. You will always be with me though. I carry your spirit everywhere and I am a better man, a good man having had you in my life. You brought me so much joy and opened my eyes to a world I could never have imagined. I know you loved me as I saw that every day. I just hope that I showed you enough that you were my world and that I love you with all my heart. You will forever be in my heart and the best part of me. I will see you again and I fondly look forward to our embrace when we meet. Rest peacefully my "Dream Girl" and know that I Love Love Love you.

Beth my sweet amazing friend. As we had your memorial party last night I know you were there with us.  You had so much left to see and do and we are all going to be very empty without your smile.  But now you belong to Heaven.  I know without a doubt that Jesus came and took you that night to be with the other Angels and you are standing in amazement. We will all miss you forever and we thank you for touching our lives in so many ways.  Rest in peace my beautiful friend.

   You are an amazing woman and I am so blessed to have you as my step-mother. Though we started off on the wrong foot I want you to know that I love you so much and am so honored to have known you. You have inspired me to be a better person and to fight for what I want. My heart aches knowing you are gone, but I find peace in that you are no longer in pain and that you are now amongst the angels. We will meet again one day. You are forever and always in my heart.

Oh Bethy,  I love you with all of my heart. You were amazing during this battle. We talked about what your journey many times. We talked about the love you had for John and the kids.  You shared your feelings with me. It was an honor to be your friend and talk to you about your love for family and your love of life.  I  will carry you in my heart forever.  I will try to comfort your family. I will keep our memories alive your spirit lives inside us all and will shape the way we live forever. I will miss you but I know you are here with us and all we have to do is look for you inside and you will be there.  I am sending your family love and light. Let all who knew you give comfort to your family. When I think of you I will smile. I will never forget my beautiful Bethy.

My deepest condolences.  Your wife may have lost the battle with cancer,  but with you at her side and all your love,  I'm sure she won her place in heaven where she will watch over you and keep you in her heart.

You are in our prayers. Our dear Bethy faced adversity with grace and unwavering determination. What an inspiration she has been, and will continue to be, to me and countless others who knew her.  Most of all, I will remember her stalwart faith in God. God bless you and keep you.

I loved you from the bottom of my heart! I know you loved me too. You were a best friend to our family. Our kids grew up together and so did you and I. You were a princess, and sometimes that was not a term of endearment! But no matter what you did, I smiled and knew that it was because of your love of life and your SPIRIT! You made my life better and I will always cherish you for that. What I didn't know was how courageous you were. I didn't know how tough you were. Now I do. I will miss you. I will not be sad though because you would not have wanted that. I will smile and see your smile in my minds eye when I think of you.

Bethy,  your spirit lit up every room. No matter what the circumstances,  you always found the positive outlook. i am so grateful for our many years of laughter and friendship!  We will see each other again and toast the good times. You will live on in our hearts and in the beautiful souls you created.

Bethy, You will forever be in my heart. I will always remember our story that was a true love affair that any one on the planet wishes happened to them.

We met in August 2003. I departed Whiting field on a Cross Country Trip with then 2ndLt Chris Bourbeau.  There was a hurricane headed to our planed destination of Corpus Christi, TX.  So we decided not to go there.  Thinking about where we would go Chris stated that he had a friend who lived in Boulder and owned the Pizza Colore' on Pearl Street.  So, off we went.  Flying for five and a half hours at twenty five thousand feet, freezing cold and two fuel stops we landed at Jefco airport in Broomfield, CO.  We rented a car and proceeded to downtown Boulder.  So you can imagine the looks we got while walking down the street in our flight suits. A Navy Lieutenant and a Marine 2nd Lieutenant walking down the street in Boulder, CO AKA "Berkely East".

Chris's friend could not get off work right away so we proceeded to bar hop.  We had a few margarita's at one bar and then ended up at Connor O'niels.  I was at the end of the bar closest to the door and Chris was at the other end talking to some folds who were curious as to what our uniforms were all about and then I saw you walk in.  It was like my heart skipped a beat.  I saw that big beautiful smile and you were poised with confidence and walked right up to Chris.  Remember..., he's like 6'3"? You walked right up to him, put your hand on his squadron patch and asked, "Where did you come from?" To which he replied while pointing to me, "I flew in with him." You said, "Oh" and walked right over to me still with that great big smile and bright hazel eyes.  I can't remember what started our conversation. I just remember that I was entranced by your beauty.  I think I told you that we were astronauts and that I could take you to the moon.  We laughed and laughed and had a great time for the rest of your life.

I really wanted to take you to the moon. Something tells me that you are there already.  I miss feeling your soothing touch, hearing your calming voice and feeling the breath of your whisper in my ear.

I will see you again and promise to live the best that I can.  I will try to always do the right thing and I will take great care of our family.  I miss you.
