Elizabeth D Kilroy, 84, of Pensacola, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2014. She was a breast cancer survivor of 16 years, but died peacefully at home.

Elizabeth (Bette) was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Bruce A. Kilroy. She is survived by her son, Jim (James A.) Kilroy, and daughters: Kathy McCloskey, Jan Goggans, Laura Kilroy Kerby, and Valerie O’Brien.

She was the proud Grandmother of 12 - Shawn Ellen Oman, Wendy Lewis, Mellani Gilbert, Holly Dziuk, Jerry O’Brien, Kelly Sutton, Sean Kerby, Mary Kilroy, Bruce J. Kilroy, Adam McCloskey, Nick Nicoll, and Alexa Gay and the Great Grandmother of 19. In the past year she was blessed with the birth of 3 great-great granddaughters.

In lieu of flowers the family request is that donations go to the American Cancer Society or Alzheimer’s Association.

No funeral services are planned as Mrs. Kilroy had arranged that she be used for medical research upon her death.
