Elaine Timothy Smith

Elaine was born October 12, 1946 to James (J.W.) and Pauline Timothy. She grew up in Molino, Florida where she was a member of Highland Baptist Church and attended Molino Jr. High. She graduated Tate High School where she was honored as a Jr. Miss and also participated in the Fiesta of Five Flags. After graduating from Tate 1964 she attended Pensacola Jr. College. She was active with charity work and while participating in a Charity Road Block she met her future husband who was serving as a Pensacola City Police officer on protection duty for the event. After graduating from PJC Elaine's first employment was Purchasing Assistant at St Regis Paper Company. Elaine and her family moved from Pensacola to Alabama and after several years moved back to Florida where she held positions at Westlake Chemical and the University of West Florida until she retired 2011. She was a devoted member of St Luke Methodist Church for many years.

Elaine is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Nathan Smith, son Timothy Smith (Julie), daughter Christine Smith, grandson Alexander Styer (Amber), sister Wanda Dunlap, special Aunt Frances Timothy, Special friend Kathy Langley, 'adopted' sister Sue Babb, numerous cousins, nieces/nephews, grandnieces/nephews, great-grand nephew and uncles Boyce and Leroy. She is preceded in death by her parents James (J.W.) and Pauline Timothy and her brother Larry Timothy.

Visitation will be Saturday October 14 at 10AM, followed by 11AM service at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel. She will be laid to rest at Bayview Memorial Park followed by a light reception also at Bayview.

Serving as Pallbearers are her grandson Alexander Styer and nephews James Dunlap and Kevin Dunlap.
