Doris C. Anderson, 97, of Pace, FL, passed away on November 7, 2024. She was born to George Jacob and Anna Grace Baisler in 1927. As a young girl, Doris graduated from New Kensington High and later attended Thiel College with a degree in English. Doris settled down with her family as a homemaker, where she enjoyed taking care of her family.
In her spare time, Doris enjoyed playing the piano, knitting, and completing word searches and jigsaw puzzles. She also loved anything outdoors and enjoyed spending time at the beach, camping, going for a swim or biking and walking. She loved to bird watch, and didn’t mind the neighborhood squirrels either!
Doris is preceded in death by her George & Anna Grace Baisler, Roy Devere Baisler, Denila Ruth Baisler, her husband, Chester George Andersom Jr., Clarence and Florence Baisler, Winnie and Julie Bond.
She is survived by her children, Glenn Anderson (Sunny), Blair Anderson (Wendy), Bryan Anderson (Gina), Frieda Hopkins; seven grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
A committal service will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her husband, Chester, on November 15th at 10:00 AM.
