Dennis was a Man of very few words. But don’t let that fool you, he was full of love and laughter. He loved his family and his friends. Dennis was the type of person that, when his family asked him for anything, his first word would have been "No“... but everyone knew that he would not truly mean it! It wouldn’t last but five minutes and he would come and talk about, when is it going to get done and how. He would give his shirt off his back, unless it was one of his Alabama shirts, because he was a die-hard Alabama Fan. Roll Tide.
If he could help out in any way, he would make sure to help out as much as he could. Dennis loved to travel, and his dream was to visit Hawaii. Talking about a dream come true, he visited Hawaii with his wife Elvira three times. Dennis must have had a hard time remembering his family’s names because he had a nickname for everyone! And everyone knew who he talked about when he mentioned them. His humor was definitely something else. He always picked on his daughter and granddaughter for their feet and toes, he picked on his wife and he picked on pretty much anyone he knew. So let’s not mourn on Dennis passing but let’s remember his humor and fun loving ways. Let’s remember the memories with him and cherish each of them! Celebrate the life he lived and loved!
