Clara May Boyer, 94, of Pensacola, Florida, went home to be with Jesus Thursday, November 12, 2020 in Keller, Texas. Clara, a retired longtime resident of Pensacola, Florida, loved her family, helping others, making jewelry, knitting, crocheting, thrift-shopping, making Christmas sweets and celebrating her faith at First Baptist Church of Pensacola.
Clara was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Kenneth Vincent Boyer; parents Zeno and Willie Mae Early; sisters Mary Charles Lay, Thelma Hughes and Mattie Early Hughes.
Clara is survived by her sister Eloise Shirley and husband Joe; brother Zeno “Buck” Early, Jr. and wife Wilma; daughters Sherry Ann Martin and husband Jeff of Keller, Texas and Kimberlee Lynn Macht of Pensacola, Florida; grandchildren Kristin Leigh Thompson and husband Dylan of Atlanta, TX, Sandi Macht Behrens and husband Shane of Panama City, Florida, Kevin Jeffrey Martin and Wife Robyn of Houston, Texas, Nathan Vincent Macht of Phoenix, Arizona and Travis Kohl Martin and fiancé Kendal of Keller, Texas; great-grandchildren Brooklyn, Brayden, Kaden, Mason, Britton, Hunter, Braxton, Caleb, and Brookes; a host of beloved brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at Oak Lawn Funeral Home in Pensacola at 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 20th, 2020. Following the service, burial will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Clara’s honor to the First Baptist Church of Pensacola for their missions or music programs.
