Charles was proceeded in death by his loving wife Betty Williamson of 57 years, one grandson
Micah Andrew Williamson, his father and mother and 2 sisters.
He was born on November 28, 1939 to Guy and Ruth Williamson in Winchester, Indiana
Charles worked in construction and for a period of time worked at the United Telephone Company in Indiana.
In 1977 Charles moved his family from Indiana to Milton, Florida to attend Belview Preacher’s training school to become a minister. After completion of preacher’s training school he worked as a part-time minister and continue to work in construction until his accident in 2009 causing him to retire from construction work.
Charles was an avid reader of western stories and read his Bible through many times a year. He also enjoyed watching old westerns on TV daily. Charles enjoyed spending time with grandchildren and having debates about different topics with each of his grandchildren.
Charles was a dedicated Christian and he attended faithfully at the Margaret Street Church of Christ until he became ill about 18 months ago.
Charles has four children: Jim (Stacy) Williamson of Lebanon, Indiana, Todd (Paula) Williamson of Pace, Florida, Cynthia Cooley of Milton, Florida, Roxanne (Rusty) Pierce of Milton, Florida.
Grandchildren are: Ryan (Janna) Williamson, Brandon (Gretchen) Williamson, LeighAnn (Gene) Gosewehr, Emmanuel Williamson, Matthew (Ashley) Williamson, Chad Mooney, Logan Cooley, Trey (April) Burgess, Aaron (Haley) Burgess, Amanda Pierce, Dennis Pierce.
14 Great grand children along with extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
The family would like to “Thank” Santa Rosa Health and Rehab and Vitas Hospice for the care that they provided for our father during his time of illness. Very special “Thank you” to Hermine for her love, patience and care of our father during his illness.
