Charles "Kim" Kimbrell

Charles H. (Kim) Kimbrell, 90 of Pensacola, Florida passed away peacefully , Sunday June 11, 2023. He was born December 31st, 1932 in Bruce, Mississippi to Olie Kimbrell and Edith Kimbrell McClellan. He was the husband of Elsie Kimbrell. They shared 71 years of marriage.

He was an Electrician by trade and after early retirement from Monsanto traveled the United States as an Electrical Technician. He was a Navy Veteran and a FreeMason.

Charles was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and served driving Golf Carts for many years.

His hobbies included fishing, BlueGrass Festivals and his family. He will be remembered for his ever present smile and humor.

He is survived by his wife Elsie Kimbrell, Daughter Vicki (Paul) Mack, Son, Terry (Beth) Kimbrell, Grandsons, Thomas Kimbrell and Michael (Mariah) Mack and great grandchildren Ella and Benjamin Mack.

I want to thank the staff at Arcadia Rehab and Nursing Home for the love and care they gave him.

Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church Disaster Relief Fund in Pensacola, Florida. .

A visitation will be held Thursday, June 15, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home, 1985 West Nine Mile Road, Pensacola, FL 32534, followed by a celebration of life service with committal prayer from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
