Early on the morning of April 22, 2014, our dear Cathy was called home to be with our Lord. She was 49 years old. Cathy lived her life full of spirit. She had a larger than life personality and everyone who came in contact with her was better for it. She was so very generous with any thing she had to give and wanted to make sure that everyone in her life knew that she cared for them. Cathy's greatest gift she gave was her love. Cathy was born in Pensacola and raised in Molino, Fl with her family. She was the baby of 8 children was the apple of the family's eye. She attended Tate High School where she was a member of two choruses for all four years of high school. The connections she made then continued throughout her adulthood. Cathy became a loyal member to the NAAFA and Dimensions community. Through these organizations, she found her voice. She had so many fond memories and experiences with her NAAFA family. They were her confidants and soul mates. Cathy had an amazing sense of style and business which she was able to show through modeling and directing several fashion shows within her community. Later in life, Cathy's dream came true and was able to open two children and gift boutiques which was her passion. Cathy never met a person that she did not like and want to befriend. She wanted to help everyone she could. We will never forget her love and support. Cathy was preceded in death by her loving husband, Roy Wild, her parents, Carl and Ruby Woods, two sisters, Margaret Woods and Helen Miller, and her brother-in-law Rip Pollock. Although Cathy had no children, she had 4 four-legged babies, Bashful and BooBoo, Toby Lee, and nephew- dog Carly. She loved them dearly.Cathy is survived by five sisters, Connie Pollock, Pat Beaver (Arthur), Teresa Barnett, Carlette Woods, Kim Kulig, brother, Carl Woods, and brother-in-law Dan Miller.
