Carolyn Ann Bassett

Carolyn Ann Bassett, 66, passed away at her home in Pensacola on March 26, 2015 after a brave battle with cancer. She was a Christian. Carolyn was born in Foley, Alabama on July 17, 1948. She was a graduate of Milton High School. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She enjoyed traveling and took numerous trips around the United States and Europe. Caro- lyn loved God, her family, and her little toy poodle, Jean. She was a property manager in Florida, Alabama, and Mississippi for 35 years. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Goldie Brooks and her son Shane Bassett.

Carolyn is survived by her husband Bill Bassett, Sr.; her sons, Robert Nabors, Bill (Eliza) Bassett, Jr., Lowell (Deborah) Bassett; sisters, Gloria Breaker, Susan Brooks, Sandra (Atwood) Kimbrough; grandchildren, Eric Sweeney, Elizabeth Hawkins, Louis Bassett; great-granddaughter, Lana Hawkins as well as

many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 31 6:00—7:30 p.m. with funeral services at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home on Wednesday April 1 at 4 p.m.
