Jeanne Jones just notified me of the loss of your husband, Bobby.  I am so deeply sorry and send you and your family my heartfelt sympathy during your time of loss.

Just learned today of Bob's passing.   Bob was such a good and kind person who fought his cancer with the support of God first and always Ann.   May he rest in peace.

Ann and family…. I was so saddened to learn of Bobby’s passing.  I remember fondly meeting y’all while
We vacationed at the beach, sharing good food, good memories and getting to know my extended family.   Praying for God peace that passes  all our understanding.  

I want to extend my heartfelt condolences to Ann and the family of my first cousin Bobby.  I spent a lot of time when I was little at Aunt Myrtle and Uncle Joes house.  Since I’m from the end of my family, everyone was gone from home except for Larry and Carol.  Just from knowing them during my childhood, I know what a wonderful, good man Bobby was.  I only spent time with him once as an adult, but it was like we had known each  other forever.  I regret not being able to visit and spend time knowing this great, wonderful man.  I love all the wonderful things people have said about him.  It’s so reassuring to know that people like Bobby Lee are a part of my family.  Knowing he is in heaven with the family gone before him is such a warm feeling.  What a beautiful soul departed from the family who has loved him for so long.  God Bless you all and I send much love to each and every one of you. I pray for your peace and comfort as you live on your life without him near.  So many beautiful memories. Ten years ago we had the privilege of moving across the street from Mr. Bob and Ann. Bob made sure that we weren’t strangers and let us know about all the neighbors. We were only neighbors for two years but we stayed friends ever since. We will miss sitting out front talking and we will miss the great stories of all Bob’s journeys. We will forever cherish our time together and the memories we have. We love you all and you are in our thoughts and prayers.

I worked with/for Bob for many years in my early government contract days.  I must say, he was one of the upper management people I admired most.  So sorry for the families loss!

I worked for Bob at NAS back in the eighties. RIP Sir.

Our family was deeply saddened to hear of Mr. Bob’s passing. He was a neighbor and friend for over 12 years on Clear Lake Drive.  We’ll never forget the Christmas parties he hosted every year for all the neighbors.  We will also never forget his character and courage in fighting through cancer. He always kept his head up and relied on his deep Christian faith to carry through. Our deepest sympathies to Ms Ann and the family. Hope to see you soon.

Bob and Ann were our beloved friends and neighbors for over 15 years.  We had the pleasure of living next door to them and always enjoyed Bob’s warm heart and positive outlook on life.  We will miss siting down with Bob in his garage and our talks about just about anything.  Bob always had an answer or the solution for everything.  Above all, he had a great heart and was just an incredible man that we learned from and cherished.  We will miss the pleasant hello’s and daily living next door to the man that everyone loved!! What a great man you truly were and we all should aspire to be.. God bless you Bob and God Speed my friend..     

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this time. Bob was such a gentleman and the best neighbor anyone could have. We have had the pleasure of living behind the Curry's in the Chandelle subdivision for over 20 years. He and Anne have always been such a pleasure. We will miss seeing  Bob out and about the yard. One of our fond memories of Bob is him hanging a bag over the back fence with fresh vegetables from his garden. When we saw the bag, we knew he had picked something fresh to share with us.  We would remove the bounty from the bag and hang it back over the fence on his side signaling- ready for refill at your convenience! Being a neighbor is something that is often lost in our world these days. We are often too busy to say hi or just wave at our neighbors. It was not lost if you had the honor of being a neighbor of Bob's though.  

Bob was a Christian and he was not shy about sharing that fact. The bible says faith is the assurance  of that which is hoped for and the conviction of that which  is not seen. Bob has now experienced that which he hoped for and has now seen that which he could not previously see. No doubt he has heard, "Well done my good and faithful servant". A sad time for those left behind to be sure, but what a glorious week he must be having.

We will miss you my friend.

SPY BOB

We had the pleasure of being neighbors on Clear Lake during our 1st tour here.
My 2 boys were dealing with their father’s year deployment in Iraq and Spy Bob would invite them down to his house and tell spy stories. They really enjoyed their time with Mrs Ann and Spy Bob… so much so, that both my boys are pursuing intelligence fields in the Navy…
Bob- thank you for being what they needed, when they needed it. Your influence  is definitely being seen .

Bob was one of the sweetest, kindest persons you could ever meet.   He always had a wonderful smile that would brighten your day and a warm hug to go along with it.  My fondest memories of “Daddy”, as I would call him, was he and Ann watching Theresa and I play tennis.  Bob was our greatest fan, even when the match was a tough one.  If we won, the words of congrats were the best!  If we lost, the words of encouragement and you’ll get them next time, we’re the best!  
All of Heaven has to be rejoicing as this very special man of God joined them…. Bob will be missed by many here.  We will all meet again! ✝️🙏🏻

Bobby is survived by his lovely wife Ann, his four children Joseph (Heather), Theresa (Neil), Christina (Enzo) and Daniel (Claudia); 6 grandchildren Wesley, Daniel, Aldo, MaryAnn, Michael and Katie and 3 great-grandchildren Colsson, Logan and Olivia. He is also survived by his brothers Billy Joe and Larry Curry and predeceased by his brother James Curry and sister Carol Ann Phelps.
