Mr. Billy Jernigan, age 86 passed Friday October 22, 2021 at his home in Pensacola.
Mr. Jernigan was preceded in death by his parents Monroe and Lannie Jernigan, brother Mabry Jernigan and grandson Wade Jernigan.
Mr. Jernigan was born in Evergreen AL. and had been a life long resident of Pensacola. He worked as a machinist at Monsanto for nearly 40 years.
He loved the outdoors and his gardening. He was a faithful Christian and a long time member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Faye Jernigan, sons Ken Jernigan and wife Melissa, Greg Jernigan and wife Kim, Mark Jernigan and wife Karen, daughter Deborah Floyd and husband David. Sisters Delarce Ryals and Janice Stone. Six grandchildren, Randy Jernigan, Michael Jernigan, Alexander Floyd, Austin Floyd, Kathryn Jernigan and Rebeka Jernigan. One great grandson Hayden Jernigan.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 1:00p.m. Interment will follow at Eastern Gate Memorial Park.
Pallbearers: Michael Jernigan, Alexander Floyd, Austin Floyd, Hayden Jernigan, Terry Lucas and Daniel Hart.
