Mrs. Taylor was born September 29, 1943 in Pensacola, Florida to James William Avery and Eleanor Delustro Avery. She was retired from Home Depot after many years of service. Beverly was an avid gardener and cook. She had an artistic eye and was able to walk into a room and set it up with great flair.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband of 6 years, Robert C. Taylor; sons, Joel Chapman (Carol) of Tampa, FL, Jeff Chapman of Virginia Beach, VA and Christopher Chapman of Pensacola, FL; daughter, Renee Grimmett (Stanley) of Moyock, NC; stepchildren, Jennifer Taylor Bear (Lewis) of Pensacola, FL, Spence Taylor (Tamey) of Crestview, FL, Faith Grady of Arizona and Regina Friedrich of Virginia; brothers, James Avery (Debbie) of Port Richey, FL and Dewayne Melvin of Denver, CO; grandchildren, Will Grimmett (Lacy), Grant Chapman, Brittany Chapman, Sarah Chapman, Tristan Romm, Jason Chapman, Lillian Chapman, Caleb Chapman and Autumn Chapman; great granddaughter, Caroline Grimmett.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, May 06, 2016 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel.
The family request in lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Beverly’s memory be made to Teen Challenge of Pensacola, 8600 US-98, Pensacola, FL 32506.
