Betty Sue Thompson

Betty Sue Thompson, age 93, of Pensacola, Florida passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2022. Betty was born November 9, 1928 in Mize, Mississippi to Crayton Jones and Alpha Lee Burris Jones. She moved to Pensacola in 1967 from Mobile, Alabama. Betty loved shopping, the beach,sunning and gardening.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Crayton and Alpha Lee Jones; husband, Samuel Haskell; daughter, Nancy Murphy; brother, Rolland Jones and sister, Mary Jones.

Survivors include her husband, LeRoy Thompson; son, Roger Murphy and wife Sue Kelley; daughters, Linda Hoff and Jennifer Moszkowski; brothers, Ralph Jones and Larry Jones; sister, Frances Griffin; ten grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren and five great great grandchild.

A visitation for Betty will be held Thursday, September 29, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel, followed by a funeral service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.
