She was an awesome example of the love of God to so many. If you don’t know the Lord and wonder what He might be like, she was one good example of His love towards people. She never knew a stranger and loved so many people of all walks and ages. If you knew her much at all, you probably got cards from her and she may have even called to sing "Happy Birthday" to you! She had a way of making people feel special and loved and she so loved Jesus. As you read this obituary, if you have never asked Jesus to come into your heart, now would be a good time to do so.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Hugh Johnson and son, David Johnson. She was an active member of Saint Simons Christian Renewal on Saint Simons Island, GA and former longtime member of Brownsville Church, Pensacola, FL.
