Arthur J Grebe

Arthur J. Grebe, 90 went peacefully to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 14, 2011. He was born on January 17, 1921 in Stickney, South Dakota but resided in Pensacola for the last 50 years. He was of Catholic faith and a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

Arthur enlisted into the Marine Corps in June 1942 and became an enlisted pilot serving in WWll and the Korean War as a Silver Eagle. He was also a member of the Daedalians, PMOAA, Kiwanis and Knights of Columbus. After retiring from the Marines he sold Real Estate in the Pensacola area.

He is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Linnia Grebe, a sister, 2 sons and 2 wives.

He is survived by his loving wife of 11 years, Margaret (Peggy) Grebe, 2 brothers Bob and Dale Grebe, children: Julia Grebe, Joseph (Julie Grebe, Ken (Debbie) Hodges, Douglas (Crystal) Hodges, Nancy (David) Lewis, Kathy (Michael) Lee, Andrea Stanley, Monica (Denny) Oglesbee, Cheryl (Mark) Oaks, Alen (Jean ) McCune, 30 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Visitation will be at Oak Lawn Funeral Home on Monday, December 19th from 5-7 PM. Funeral Services will be held at Holy Spirit Church on Monday December 20th at 9:30 AM. Burial to follow at Barrancas National Cemetery at 11:00 AM
