Our Dad Antonio (Tony) Mendez 85, US Army MSG retired has gone to be with the lord, He will join our mother Nella Mendez. Dad lived a full life and was loved by his family and friends. He is survived by his four children; Tony ,Tom, Manny and Carol ,6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
His military career included Vietnam, Korea, Europe and bases across the United States. He went on to complete another successful career working Civil Service supporting the men, women and families serving our country. He was a true patriot throughout his life.
He loved to golf and fish. He was a charitable man and supported multiple organizations through his life. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in his name an organization that was close to his heart.
