Phillip was born in Penn Yan, New York on August 21, 1968, the son of Phillip D. and Janice E. (Conley) Dailey Sr. He served in the US Army from 1992 thru 1995 and received his Bachelor’s Degree from Hobart William Smith College. He worked as a Paralegal for Legal Assistance of Western New York in Geneva. He was a member of the VA Association. But above all, Phillip was a loving, strong, and caring father, son, brother, and friend.
Phillip is survived by his daughters, Ashlie and Stacie Dailey; 3 year old son, Jayce M. Dailey; mother, Janice Dailey; sister, Angela Dailey of Hamlet, NC; niece and nephews, Amanda, Ryan, and Allen; his best friends, Tom Bailey, Vinnie Volland, and Kelly Biery; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Phillip D. Dailey Sr. and his brother, Matthew S. Dailey.
Friends and family may call from 11 am to 1 pm and 4 pm to 6 pm on Thursday, May 5th, 2016 at the Townsend Wood Funeral Chapel, 201 E. Elm St., Penn Yan, NY 14527. A memorial service celebrating his life will follow at the funeral home a 6pm. Interment with military honors will be held on Friday, May 6th at 11am at Lakeview Cemetery in Penn Yan. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to a Veterans Charity of one’s choice.
