Mary Beth Greene

Mary Beth was born in Geneva, NY on September 30th, 1974, the daughter of Gordon and Marion (Gleason) Phelps. She was an active member of the White Stone Chapel Church of the Nazarene, Ladies Auxiliary of Penn Yan VFW Post 745 and was a past member of the Johnson Costello American Legion in Penn Yan. She loved music and loved to sing and was a frequent participant at many area karaoke events. Mary Beth always cared for others, especially when they were in need. She loved children, and caring for them, and was an advocate for all children.

Mary Beth is survived by her husband, Andrew Greene; her daughters, Kali and Hunter Greene; her mother, Marion Phelps; sister, Sandra Tietjen; several nieces, nephews; aunts, uncles, and cousins; as well as, her family at the White Stone Chapel Church of the Nazarene.

Friends and family may call from 11am to Noon on Thursday, August 20th, 2015 at the Townsend-Wood Funeral Chapel, 201 E. Elm St., Penn Yan, where her funeral service will follow at Noon. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Penn Yan, NY.
