Donald J. Redman, 79, of Penn Yan, NY passed away at FF Thompson Hospital on Thursday, July 30, 2015.
A Memorial Service for Don will be held at the Townsend-Wood Funeral Chapel, 201 E. Elm St., Penn Yan, NY 14527 on Friday, August, 7 at 3:00pm. Memorials may be made in Don’s name to the Humane Society of Yates County, PO Box 12, Penn Yan, NY 14527 or to a charity of one’s choice.
Don was born on September 26, 1935 in Skaneateles, NY to the late Albert & Blanche (Baker) Redman. He worked as a Funeral Director and a Shift Supervisor for NYSEG.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Jean (deLap) Redman; daughter, Kathleen (Michael) Moore; grandson, Steve (Sara) Culver; great grandchildren, Matthew & Eva Culver; K9 companion, Mitzi. Don was predeceased by all of siblings.
