Deloris was born in Naples, NY on November 30th, 1925, the daughter of the late, Laura M. (Brown) and Willis A. Kidder. She married Robert Cook McConnell on June 15, 1947. Deloris worked in the cafeteria and janitorial dept. at Prattsburgh Central School.
Deloris is survived by her son, Randy R. (Laurie Striker) McConnell; daughter, Sandra E. (Steven) Bates; grandchildren, Anthony, Tabitha, Jason, Bradley, and Jamie; step grandchildren, Courtney, Denise, Breonna, and Micheala ; great grandchildren, Damion, Blake, Irelynd, and Denver; and step great grandchildren, Coby, Kayla, Gianna, Vaust, Julius, and Jeremiah. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Robert Cook McConnell in 1982; great grandson, Preston Van Skiver and brothers and sisters-in-law, Lewis A. (Grace) Kidder and Adrian (Shirley) Kidder.
Friends and family may call from 1 to 3 pm on Sunday, February 3rd, 2019 at the Townsend Wood Funeral Chapel, 201 E. Elm St., Penn Yan, NY 14527. Her funeral service will follow at 3 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Don Peek, officiating. Interment will held at the convenience of her family at Rural Cemetery in Prattsburgh.
