I worked around and with Melissa in my numerous jobs at Holy Name then Riverview for 25 years. She was an excellent nurse but, more importantly she was a wonderful human being. She always had a smile and a kind word for any and everybody. I am sending my condolences and heartfelt prayers for her loved ones. May GOD continue to bless each and every one of you. Such a sweet lady.. Always smiling.. I had the privilege of working at Riverview regional medical center with her for many years.. Prayers for her family for peace and comfort..

She was one of the kindest women I have ever met. She had a very gentle soul and was an outstanding nurse! She will be greatly missed by everyone at Riverview. We just won’t be the same!

I met Melissa about 10 months ago at Riverview Regional  Medical Center. We developed a wonderful working friendship, that I still Cherish today. I am saddened at her passing, but believe that she is in a better place..... called Heaven. I plan to see her again some day, and renew that friendship. Prayers and blessings to each member of her family.. I know that she will be sorely missed by all who knew and appreciated her.

I’m sorry to hear of Melissas passing...I worked with her back when we were young new nurses!  I loved working with her...she had a heart for her patients and she cared for them like family. She was quiet, yet funny during some of our long night shifts...and we had to be on alert Incase one of the “Sisters” came around unexpectedly. I know she will be missed by many. God’s blessings for your family 

Melissa was the nurse you wanted taking care of your family members, she ways had her smile and never said a harsh word. When I became nurse manager over 3rd Tower, Melissa was my go to, she was always a true professional. She was a wonderful mentor to all new nurses and passed on her knowledge. When I think of Melissa, I think of a quote I heard when I was first out of nursing school, “ we have crossed the bridges that great nurses before us have built, And now it’s our turn to build bridges for others to cross.” Melissa was one of the great bridge builders. Rest In Peace my beautiful friend. 







Melissa was also my first mentor/preceptor. I learned so much from her during my short stay but never will forget her love for her patients and for Paul. May their reunion be sweet and forever! Many thanks Melissa!

Melissa was  more than just an aunt nurse, friend, sister, and wife.  She was a light in the dark to so many people.  Her life touched so many people in her time with us.  I remember when my uncle Paul first introduced her to our family.  It was at a big Cline family reunion.  It was as though she had been part of the family for years, she seemed to just slide right in so well.  She was always a joy to be around.  I remember telling my uncle you know I like her a lot he said so do I.  I said good cause you mess this up we are all going to be mad.  She had a spirit that was almost infectious with its love and compaction.  No mater your bad mood you could never seem to stay that way around Melissa.   She was so soft spoken and gentle.  She has left her mark on the hearts of all in our family and we will miss her so much and be in some way diminished with her lose.  Good bye Aunt Melissa I no we love you and miss you already.

Melissa was a blessing to work with.  She was my first preceptor when I started my nursing career at Riverview.  I never heard her say an unkind word, and she had the patience of a saint.  Rest in Peace Melissa, the world is a better place because you cared.
