James Williams Tyus, age 60, of Pell City, Alabama passed away on Monday, October 3, 2022. James was born July 9, 1962 to James Arthur and Alice Pilkington Tyus.
James is survived by his wife of 42 years: Bobbie Tyus; his children: Adam Tyus (Allison), Meleah Boyle (Mark), Ashley Weber (Ryan), Andrew Tyus (Kaylei) and Zachary Drummonds; thirteen grandchildren; his sisters: Jacqueline Webster (Terry Wayne) and Lavelle St. John (Jeff); his brother: Robert Tyus; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
James was preceded in death by his parents: James A. and Alice P. Tyus; and his mother-in-law: Lenora Ramsey.
A visitation for James will be held Friday, October 7, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home followed by a celebration of life memorial service at 6:00 PM.
