Hazel Louise Garrett, age 82, of Cropwell, Alabama, went to her Heavenly home on Monday, August 12, 2024. Hazel is preceded in death by her parents, Euth and Nora Taylor; her loving husband of 46 years, Jimmy Garrett; step-son, Jeff Garrett; granddaughter, Crystal Gilliam; great granddaughter, Amber Phillips. Hazel is survived by her children, Randall (Donna) Murray, Debra (Keith) Slaton, Darlene (Gary) Robinson, Dianne (Wesley) McCollum, stepdaughter Becky (Eddie) Smith. Hazel is survived by 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Hazel is also survived by her brothers, Thomas (Miriam) Taylor and Jimmy (Jean) Taylor.
A visitation for Hazel will be held Friday, August 16, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Kilgroe Funeral Home, 2219 2nd Ave North, Pell City, AL 351251705, followed by a funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM.
