Doris A Robinson

She is survived by her daughter, Donna Clawson (Rich); sons, Charlie Robinson (Jamie) and Andy Robinson (Tracy); six grandchildren, Wendi Wilson (Al), Blake Clawson, Zack Robinson (Adriana), Austin Robinson, Hannah Copeland (Cody),and Chase Robinson (Alexus);five great-grandchildren, Kirstin (Colby), Neale (Alexis), Kaleb, Kensleigh, and Gracelynn; and three great-great-grandchildren, Piper, Wyatt, and Emery.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Charles Robinson; sister, Verlee Wells; brothers, Raymond Andrews, Virgil Andrews Jr.; parents, Virgil and Clara Andrews; and an infant daughter.

Doris went to Phillips High School in Birmingham, Alabama. She worked at Bechtel-McCone Aircraft during world war II. Later she worked at Hayes Aircraft where she met the love of her life, Charles Robinson Sr. Doris taught Sunday School and attended three different churches throughout her life, Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Locust Fork Baptist Church and Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. Doris cared for others and loved working in the garden. In her free time she loved to go fishing.

There will be a visitation held at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Pell City on Friday, January 3, 2025 beginning at 9:00am with a service to follow in the chapel at 10:00. Doris will be laid to rest at Gibson Hill Cemetery in Berry, AL.
