Derrol is survived by his wife of 58 years: Mary Turner Luker, his sons: Derrol D. Luker and Alan Luker (Teshia), his grandchildren: Lauren Elizabeth Luker, Turner Derrol Luker and Mary Denman Luker; and his sister, Suzanne Clonts.
Derrol was preceded in death by his parents, Forrest D. Luker and Virginia Faye Bowlin Luker.
Derrol was a Professional Engineer and Land Surveyor. He was an avid reader, golfer, farmer, and member of the Pell City Country Club. Derrol was a former member of the Navy. He will be missed dearly by his friends and family.
A visitation for Derrol will be held Monday, December 19th, 2022 from 10 AM to 11 AM at Kilgroe Funeral Home with a celebration of life service to follow. Interment will be at Valley Hill Memorial Gardens.
